First, some general details...

- Malaga city is the capital of the province of Malaga and the second largest city of Andalusia.
- There are 550.000 inhabitants, who live on the almost 400 square kilometers between the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains.
- Situated between sea and mountains, the enclave boasts a priviliged climate, with a temperature that varies between minima of 13º and maxima of 28º centigrade (Celsius).

About the climate...

Málaga is probably the city with the nicest climate of the Iberian peninsula: it rains very little, an average of 770 mm, which falls between November and March.

And then... the light! 3000 hours of sun per year. In general, the whole surrounding Costa del Sol enjoys a soft winter and a hot summer.

How to get to Málaga?

As a city at the crossroads, there are very many possibilities for the traveler:

BY CAR:

- If you come from the north, use the autovia A-45 (Antequera-Málaga)
- Otherwise, use the A-7, also known as the autovia del Mediterraneo that stretches from Algeciras to Nerja.

FROM THE AIRPORT:

The International Airport Pablo Ruiz Picasso (Code AGP) is at 8 km / 5 miles from Málaga city. There are two terminals: A - for national flights, B - for international flights

From the airport you can drive to the city by taking autovia E-15 or you can...

The best option is always PARKING PRIVADO-CONCERTADO which is the biggest of the city and just around the corner of Hotel Venecia.
